Hi and welcome to this great forum.
It is the place for motivation and support for anyone doing the C25K programme.
Many folk use the NHS C25K podcasts which link in with the forum as they are so structured and well balanced. Other folk have apps which link in too.

The key thrust is slow and steady... you will hear that a lot on the forum...because it works Take your rest days and any other exercise on those rest days will be beneficial too.
Having a goal is a great idea, but don't focus too much on the 5K, just move forward to becoming the runner you want to be..The idea is to get to running the 30 minute runs after nine weeks, ( or however long it takes you) injury free
Look forward to your first run post
