Even my feet warmed up in the the end. And I got to hang out with the robins and leave my footprints in the frosty grass... saw the sun dazzling off the frosty leaves as it began to melt, and felt at one with the world.
A fair bit of my run is up hill- at least two thirds. So I reckon if it was on the flat or treadmill 5k in 30 minutes would be in the bag.
I loved it! Running. It rules! Never ever thought I'd be saying that, in a million years. But it does.

Well done! But why does distance and time matter so much at the moment? It doesn't!
Just take it slow & steady for the time being, don't push it too much.. try and just carry on naturally through graduation and try and keep to constant running 3 times a week and the time will come down and the weight will come off..as you go on toward 5k..😊
In hillwalking there is a "rule" which basically says for every 10 ms of ascent you add 1 minute, on top of your base time. So yes enjoy your moment and relish what a great additional achievement it is:).
