3rd visit tonight to Physio for poorly knee. He's pleased with progress and says I can now try a gentle jog. Feeling happy but a tad worried in case it all goes pear shape. I'm going to start again on Wednesday evening - 10 mins tops and see how it feels.

Keep you all posted

x

Ah, that's great news! :) Nice one.

I really hope your gentle little jog on Wednesday goes well. If the physio says you can do it, then I'm sure you'll be just fine. Let us know how it goes. :) x

Thanks Lee for the encouragement. Just got to take it steady and besides - can't let you catch up or even overtake me now you've graduated :-) x

Hehe. :) Fear not my friend...even with your injured knee I think you're safe! ;)

I just have so much going on at the moment, I know I'm going to really struggle just to get any kind of running in, especially as that goal of completing the C25K plan has now gone. :'( x

When's your treadmill due? Maybe you could have a little dabble on there occasionally. Maybe you need to set yourself a new goal - post it on here - then we can all keep check on how it's going?

Maybe we could synchronize a virtual run together - pick a day and time we're both free and run together - battle of the titans!! :-) x

Battle of the titans? :D I don't know about that. Maybe if you remove the last 3 letters, that's more of good description for me I think! lol ;) Anyhoo...I'll keep ya posted on that. :)

Err, seriously...my treadmill is due tomorrow (29th) but you know what courier firms can be like. So it could be anytime then or after. I'm hoping that they deliver it either first thing or very late in the day as working my night shift I will be 'knocking some zeds out' by lunch time!

Yes, indeed, that's why I decided to buy it, so I can at least jump on that every few days to keep things going, even if the weather isn't so good. Then, when I get more time I can go out for a 'proper' run. :) x

Steady as you go... it is good news and if you just go for a Irishprincess jogette.. at slow speed, you should be fine :)

I had a small journey out on Sunday... I am hoping to post later... I sort of rolled my foot instead of lifting it too much... :) reducing impact.. mind, my outing was really, mostly a walk :)

Good Luck anyway... will watch for your post x

Thanks everyone for your kind words :-) Knee giving me a bit of pain today so going to postpone my run until Saturday when it's settled and I can run/jog in the daylight. Working long hours means I could only run before 6am or after 6pm both of which are dark. Want to be safer than sorry.
