Did my first run yesterday, felt fine at the time but legs a bit sore today. Thinks that's partly because I danced a lot at a wedding last night. Only problem I found was there was a lot of wet leaves on the ground and it was quite slippy. Next run tomorrow so see how that goes x

Well done Linda! :)

But please make sure you have your rest days in between runs and don't overdo it because you risk picking up an injury and you really don't want that just as you've started. x

Just walked the dogs today which is an easy wander as they are older dogs. Not sure if I am going to try again tomorrow or wait till Tuesday, my shins ache a bit x

Yes you need at least one rest day in between your run days. I always had 1 rest day after a running day, up until I got to week 5 run 2. I then took 2 rest days, and that's what I will continue to do from now on (unless I struggle badly in the future and need more!) x
