Week 4 Run 1 done today. My goodness. I nearly died. The second 5 minute stint was killer. I managed it, just. Although it was more of a shuffle towards the end. Really hoping this will get easier!! Bit of a twinge in both knees today, will have to keep an eye on that. Tomato face is, of course, back and more brilliant than ever before!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Oh yes, the good old tomato face lol!

As long as you finish. It doesn't matter how slow you are going. I remember week four being very hard, but you have got through. Be proud ;)

Well done you - I'm laughing at the "My goodness, I nearly died" - I'm sure I said something similar but maybe with an extra word or two slotted in! Those 5 minute ones are hard but they really do build your stamina, no matter how slowly or shuffly you do them (and no matter what colour your face is)! :-D Keep an eye on your knees though and remember your stretches. You're doing brilliantly :)

Well done ! See you didn't nearly die that tomato face proves your well and truly alive !!

Every darn time I go out to run a new time I wonder if I am going to die an exotic death as I get closer to the end :) Then after consolidating whatever time it is later, the fear of death arises again as a new opportunity to have an "increased success" run arises :)

But you didn't die - you did it! Well done!

Great work! It's great that you've documented "I nearly died" as when you're soon running for 30 minutes it will be great to look back and remember how far you've come. :) It DOES get easier as your body adapts, you get to know and understand yourself and what to expect, how to beat the gremlins, etc, etc. It's still hard but somehow it's easier! :) Keep at it, you're doing great to push through those runs. I promise it'll be worth it!

Exactly at the same stage!! Did my week 4 run 1 last night. Managed it but on the slow side 😢 I tend to run every 2 days and I repeat the last run once or twice before progressing to the next stage!
