I had a looong day working at an event yesterday and was soo tired and my feet and knees really hurt from standing all day. I went to bed very early, with comfrey ointment all over my feet and knees and hoped I would feel better this morning.

I didn't sleep well and felt so tired and rubbish, was feeling quite anxious about the run, but.....we did it. :-)

I am going away on Tuesday but am going to try and do W4R2 before I go and then..not sure...may have to try and do the third run while I am away, but it might mean running on pavements which I think will hurt my joints..not sure what to do..we have a busy few weeks so it's going to be hard to keep to our schedule of running three times a week and I don't want ti lose momentum..

Well done for starting week 4!!! Life just takes hold something, doesn't! I'm sure you will find away around it ;)

Well done for getting out there! Hope you can find time for the other two runs this week. It's hard when life gets in the way. Anyway, good on you, VeganNelly! 😊

I am verging on the pavement phobic but if you don't get out before you are away and pavements are your only option whilst away, just keep it slow, slow, slow and gentle and your regularly scheduled rest days will sort you out.

I've only once set out on a run I knew would be pavement all the way (and that was on holiday)... wouldn't have missed it for the world!
