Obligatory photo of new shoes! Sent the original ASICS GT 2000's back and now have exactly the same pair I had before...ASICS Gel Kayano 21's. Feel like I am walking on clouds again! Very boring to have the same but I guess it's a case of "If it ain't broke.." My others served me well for many miles🙂.

They look good your comment echoes a similar statement from a sport shop assistant I spoke and he said people have a preferred choice and won't deviate from what they had before

Their arrival via the postie this morning was like meeting up with an old friend! Very welcome! I have been using my trail shoes for the last few weeks which are fine as I do a lot of trails, but not as good as these when I am on the roads and pavements.🙂

Last time I went to buy shoes I tried three different kinds and had already mentally psyched myself up to buying something different (Mizuno Wave Riders) after a brief try on a few days earlier. In the end I came away with Asics Nimbus again - the shop assistant thought they looked best on the video and as the different Nimbus versions had always been really comfortable, the fact that the Mizuno was cheaper wasn't really a good enough argument.

I did wonder if once we've found a trusty pair we then stick to that brand forever more! Think I'm beginning to realise yes, personally I'll be buying New Balance shoes again and again!

Yup, I'm a Nike girl. Stick with what works and feels comfortable. Your new shoes look great and I love the pink tongues peeking out.
