Technical help needed please

I have tried several times to upload a profile picture but although the system says it's got it & saved it it doesn't appear when I use the forum. Feel as though I am being dim! Any suggestions please.

Although looking at the forum others without a picture have smiley yellow ringed faces & I have a very small blue & green rectangle at 10 o'clock which kind of suggests there is something there! Completely puzzled

Yes, I see a tiny slice of pizza at 10 o'clock too.

I think that uploading a profile picture only works from a computer. Maybe there is something wrong with the file type, or filesize or something. You might need to ask the 'proper' technical help on the site...

Well, the FAQs say this about the profile picture:

I don't know what the picture you want to use looks like. But once you have it uploaded, you can move it around in the circle so that you see the bit you want. Is it a square picture, and moved diagonally up into the top left of the circle? Maybe we can just see the bottom right-hand corner?
