New here but wanted to share that I'm just back from completing Wk 5 run 3!! Never thought I would be able to do it but I did!! For anyone out there who is feeling anxious about this run just trust the programme, believe in yourself, pace yourself and try and get into a rhythm and you will get there.

Hello everyone, I have just completed wk6d1 it's took four weeks to get here and I'm really enjoying it. I decided that I could incorporate the c25k in my morning walk with my 18mth old border collie Skip. He runs freely as we go around the local countryside. Other dog walkers look amazed to see me, a 56yrs 3stone overweight woman wobbling around. Anyway, last week I started to have some sharp intermittent pain under the ball of my foot! Now sometimes I have do the programme 2 days in a row and wondered if that's contributed? I've had 3 days break and try to remember not to walk in bare feet. Its still there though but it doesn't bother me when I jog. Any ideas what it is and what I can do to stop it? Thanks
Well done you! That's encouraging for me as a beginner too
