But don't you feel amazing afterwards! It took me quite a while to actually enjoy the running part!

I found that I'd have moments of thinking 'ooh, I'm quite enjoying this' - gradually over time they got longer and the 'gah, why am I doing this???' moments got less (other than the first 5-10 mins). Sadly I'm still working my way back up, having stopped for a while, but the feeling of happiness when I've been for a run and managed it - that makes it worthwhile! :)

About 25 min into a run for me. It helps if you focus your mind on something, that blocks out the negative gremlins, otherwise I fekt you're just slogging along thinking about the actual running. I start to feel good when I've forgotten I'm running and I'm wrapped up in other thoughts. Some runs are just hard work though. The endorphin rush will hit after your run though , however the actual running went.

Not sure if focusing on poo is going to give you an endorphine rush somehow. Do you wake up feeling happy and generally positive the day after a run?
