I have been saving stamina up for about three weeks and decided to do it this evening. It was a perfect temperature and the blossom was blooming and the birds were a-singing.🎵

After reading jt's post I started my run with that poor soldier who collapsed during the marathon in mind. Stamina starts of nice and steady and I started to try and remember the names of all you lovely fellow runners.

There are loads and loads before i noticed much Laura was saying thats 10 mins over and I hadn't even felt slightly puffed. I carried on vivster, boptilyoudrop, helsbels the list was endless but very satisfying. Big-Andy, Davelinks, yatesco...

I was getting near the end and was trying to think of the name of the girl who posts in a woolly hat..but as i started to panic and feel tired, suddenly big papa bear popped up to give me a hug....

I recommend you try this it takes your mind off running.

Needn't mention everyone I know, but Old Floss, Sparky, barmybint, ancient mum, patrick, nhs, yamiskoi, poppy pug, saul, elsie and secan were all there too, running along.

So thanks everyone ..😊

5k in 42 mins including warm up/down.

P.s Nots so new Pam, shirvani and Rignold played their part.

Oh, so that's why I suddenly began to sweat while I was sitting on the couch! Glad to discover it was not andropause... 😆

Well, in this case thank you very much for the run, it's been a pleasure and an honour. 🙂

Oh Jan, so nice to see we haunt you in your runs ! I like stamina, although not so much the music. If I am tired when I head out I like to do the stamina podcast, t sees me through. If I am not so tired, I listen to my own music for the first 15 min or so then switch it off and run without, thinking my thoughts. I think trying to remember a list is aclever move. I'll borrow that one.

I like that idea. Yes, it does feel like other others are running along - virtual running pals! Sometimes I start creating a post in my mind and on my graduation run I even created a poem, of sorts. When I am running with the dog though I have to concentrate on him in case he sees a sheep and lunges!
