So I managed it. It is bizarre though - week 8 day 1 and 2 were _really_ tough, run 3 was a breeze. Today, nowhere near as bad as w8d1 or w8d2 but not as smooth as w8d3.
I am also _really_ aching in my lower legs/above my ankle - far more than an extra two minutes would suggest. I ran (including the walks) 4.9km, a tiny bit further than w8d3 so my pace was slightly slower if anything.
The only difference is that w8r3 (the great one) was done in the evening, all the other runs are around 3-4pm.
Oh, and I used my funky shiny new 5.99 running top from Aldi. I am usually an Aldi snob (yeah, I admit it), but it was great! It was quite breezy today and I thought I would be really cold, but no, warmer than my normal t-shirt if anything.
Anyway, I did it - I ran 30 minutes non-stop. Yeah :-).

Have you tried icing your ankles/lower legs ? I couldn't be parted from an frozen bag of peas when I did the programme. I was always getting niggly ankles , but eventually it all seemed to disappear of its own accord .
The Aldi gear is really good stuff. Ive had quite a lot of stuff from there and it is good quality.
Only another 2 to go for the badge . Good Luck ! xxx
I found Week 8 (Run 3) and Week 9 (Run 1) a bit of a slog and was a bit worried. However, I've just come back from run 2 when I seemed to still have some energy in reserve.
When you think about it, it's an odd programme and I'd love to understand the science behind it a bit more. e.g. why is Week 6 is so hard and yet seems less difficult than the 20 min run beforehand.
Anyway, I've learnt to stick to the schedule like glue and like you, not many runs to go now before graduation.
No point in wishing you luck because you WILL do this.
Well done! You have actually given me some hope for tomorrow. I should be doing week 9 run 1 but I've struggled so much with week 7 and 8 that I haven't managed to get past 25 mins yet. It has taken a lot out of me and I have been dreading the full 30 minutes. At least I know I'm not the only one finding it tough. Bring on 28 mins tomorrow 😬
Thanks all - to those who are also approaching the 28/30 minute runs - despite all my grumblings, _the_ _plan_ _does_ _work_ :-). Have fun, and keep moving!
