W6....big tick!

I decided to do runs 2 and 3 on my treadmill with it being the Easter hols and having my youngest off school it was just easier to fit in. Run 2 went really well but I was still nervous about run 3 (I have a feeling I will always get that feeling!) Run 3 also went well....too well, I felt like I could have carried on. I have two reasons why I think this may be. 1) Hubby played around with the treadmill saying it wasn't level so may be now I'm running downhill?!? 2) I did two runs outside which included some uphill running so may be I've increased my stamina? I'm going to do an extra run on Sunday outside to see how that goes then at least I'll know.

I've signed up to my first park run around the lovely Fountains Abbey which I'm really looking forward to and I've also signed up for the Yorshire Warrior 5 mile assault course at the end of April......crazy! (I think I might be!)

Well done, week 6 sounds a world away from here! I think the prospect of a run around Fountains Abbey would be be very motivating, it's a magical place.

Thank you, the weeks just fly by. If you're just beginning don't worry, this plan really works :)

W3 went fine, but the idea of running 8 mins? In a row?! Implausible at the moment!

I think most people feel like that. Have a read of my past posts and others. I find this forum really motivational reading other people's stories. Good luck with your next run :)

Go you... Love Fountains Abbey! Onwards and upwards... or downwards if you are running downhill! :)
