Thanks Bazza. I hadn't seen this before, but it is truly inspiring. I will be thinking about this when I go on my run tomorrow, and probably for many runs to come!
Loved that video. Wasn't it amazing to watch Arthur walk unaided at the end and even run?! Fantastic. I used to do loads of yoga until I had children and no time or energy left in me for it. Prior to giving birth I'd done an hour of yoga morning and night for years but never had to struggle like he did. He just kept battling on until he got there. I knew a guy who was morbidly obese, even bigger than Arthur at the beginning of the video but not disabled. He was diagnosed with diabetes and took up running to lose weight. I saw him again 2 years later and would never have recognised him. He was lean and athletic looking. Had joined a running club and was proud of his achievements and rightly so. His doctor had been amazed that he had completely sorted out his diabetes problem . Doctor said he had never seen anything like it before.
