some weeks ago a chap at work passed on and today his gym put on a memorial 5k run. I went with a load of friends from work and lots of people from the gym etc. - 150 people in all. Lovely event and the running was...interesting. Instead of my usual 10 metre height gain it was 64 metres and my legs are like putty. Hardest run I've done for a while. Got in under 30 despite the hills, but came last among my work colleagues and they have only been running 3 weeks. In my defense they are a bit younger than me.
