Hello,
I'm thinking of getting this watch the main selling point for me is that it has an in built heart rate monitor. I'd be interested in other people views on it an in particular those people who have one.
I have one and I really like it. It has had the occassionaly off day when it just would not find a satelitte connection (one bad spell was only resoleved by my performing a re-boot and reset to factory settings, which meant I lost my race comparison from the previous week's parkrun).
I had run with a chest monitor previously, but found that restricting. I much prefer the Tom-Tom in that respect.
I do like the 'race yourself' function - particularly for parkrun and I do make a lot of use of the heart-rate zones for training sessions. It has a treadmill function, but I haven't ever used that so can't comment there and it is meant to be suitable to use for swimming, but again, not tried that.
I have it I find it is easy to use and the large watch display is great as I can see it even when not wearing contacts/glasses when running. Gives a recovery based on your heart rate when you pause on completing your run . As I am just on the start of my running journey I am sure I will use the more advanced functions but at the moment I am just doing distance/time !
I am thinking of getting one aswel. More compact than using my phone
I have had one for about 1 year. Really rate it. I live in Scotland so it invariably wet all the time. Never missed a beat. Not cheap though. On the plus side it is really easy to use.
I've had mine for 3 weeks now. Really happy with it. Using it outdoors and treadmill and works great for both.
