Week 4 finished but calf muscle on left leg really sore, thought id rested enough between r2 and r3 but obviously hadn't. Funnily enough its only outside muscle on calf only on one leg, (left) must be the way I run?

Ahhh the bells,, the bells!!

Does pose interesting problem re week 5 , do I wait? Or press on?

Are you stretching out the calf muscle afterwards. It really helps, I hold the stretch for about 15-20secs to make sure it's properly stretched. Have a look at some stretches on the web.....

Yes I try and do stretches afterwards, (preferably dynamic stretching which has been shown to help I know) but probably don't hold for as long as I should. Think problem more related with HOW I run, placing too much stress on one particular ( part of the) muscle .

I've pulled calf muscle before now ( bizarrely running for a train after particularly hard session in gym evening before) .
