Well said, and we are certainly not that and this forum would be rather dull if we were

Aside from the technical block that has seen me unable to upload photos, I wonder... I enjoy seeing photos of other people of all shapes and sizes running but it is how it makes us *feel* that we need to convey surely?
In my daily life, and when I run, the way I feel is at odds with any photographic images - and the way I feel, the picture in my head is infinitely better and encouraging.

Hehe I could post a video of me limping along, crutch in hand, but I don't think it would inspire anyone (except perhaps Long John Silver) Great idea though Bazza

Here is where I ran my Parkrun over Easter goo.gl/maps/0u8WL The roadside path actually goes to the top of the hill with the lighthouse on top - dont think you can see it in Google Street view as the Google car wouldn't have been able to get further than the carpark - but it can be seen in Google maps by exiting Google Street view.

One of the people in this photo is me - the blurriness gives the false impression that we are moving really fast lol
Unfortunately you can only put a photo in a new 'post' not a reply so here is a link s1014.photobucket.com/user/...
So this is where I can run when I step out of the house:
(said house is about halfway between the names "Ballyoughtera" and Lahernathee, in case you pass by come and say hello!!)

Great idea Bazza, I'm so enjoying seeing everyone! I do have a little video from last year, still working out how to get it here doh!
We got to run around Longleat on Friday, awesome day for it, warm sun with a cool breeze. We weren't chased by any wild animals, but BIG hills though! Pics here- plus.google.com/photos/1014...
Very interesting! You were obviously kitted up and planning to run at Longleat -- do they allow/permit that there ? Probablt , a silly question I know - just that I have been to a number of British great houses ( in years past) and would never have thought to get a run in. It is a great idea however - and probably the only way to get to see some of the grounds.
