Hi there, this programme is so addictive...I'm amazed i reached W4R2 but ankles and knees hurt..got a GA and discovered I was running wonky! Now fab new trainers and trying to be sensible and rest but was due to finish R3 Friday as thought best rest...why do I feel guilty? Any advice? Run thro it or recover fully before starting again?

I hope the new shoes will sort you out. What shoes did you get, she asks nosily. We have to know for research purposes, she lied

A few days off running will do you no harm. It must be tempting though to give the new shoes a run out

New shoes give you a real boost and will make you really want to go for it but take care! You need to look after your legs, ankles and knees so go steady
