The first 5 minutes are like...

Then there's the next 3 and 5 and 5; I'm glad there's a "walk" in between. Done my second day of the 4th week and loved it. Did 3.18 miles in 26 minutes. ('m glad there's a loo near by when I stop!!!) cheers all, Mic

good work there,well done on your runs so far :D :D dont worry about the distance ,take it slow and steady the aim is complete the runs,distance and speed will come later .. you doing great so far keep at it :D :D

I want to prove that exercise heals! Since I've been going to the gym, it has been a slow road to recovery. Even my chest consultant, a down to earth doctor, is amazed!

Yep, just keep slowly, gently plugging away and your fitness will improve. There's no need for speed!

We were talking about the health improvements last night at our jog group, and each person was astonished at the increase in their fitness since starting to run, even the older ones like me. You can really turn things round with your health and be well. Our bodies are amazing things!
