Profile Page

Hi folks

I've written three times to the Site Helpers about this ;

Does the profile page work on your browser? I click on EDIT PROFILE - nothing. Click on ACTIVITY - nothing.

I'm using Chrome. Is this why do you think?

Tis driving me to distraction!!!

Any ideas?

Hi Dan, I generally use a first generation I-pad and if i click on edit profile it comes up with a message that my browser is too old to be able to update my profile.

Try safari or Firefox? This new site has issues, I think it doesn't like certain people?

Safari works !! But I need to do the TurboTortoise REFRESH every button press. Better than nothing eh?

It doesn't like iPads (even newer ones with the latest operating system) but didn't have any issue with a massively outdated Internet explorer, crazy!

Works with Chrome for me, Dan. Have you got the latest version. When you click on EDIT PROFILE, nothing dramatic happens, but it changes to say VIEW YOUR PROFILE, a small button appears on your avatar image saying UPLOAD, likewise on your banner saying UPLOAD IMAGE, and your existing profile becomes editable.

Hmmm….how bizarre? Safari seems to work it, but with a refresh every click.

I'm using Safari on a Mac - but if I go to my profile page then try and click through to posts/activity/edit, about the half the time (randomly) it does nothing until I hit refresh, then it loads.

Safari works TT. I'm a mac dude too.

But why does one have to refresh every time?? Weird..

Hello Dan, I am using internet explorer and clicked on 'edit profile', I was then faced with a blank box and my existing profile was gone, so I had to copy and paste my existing profile first. It seems a bit hit & miss doesn't it! x

Also using Chrome on a PC running windows 8.1 and its working fine for me...

I'm struggling with it too. It allows me to edit the words but I can not get picture uploaded to avatar or banner. So I have to stay as a green smile
