Progress

I just spent 20 mins drafting a short progress report and accidentally deleted it!!! the long and short of it is I am on W2R3 tomorrow and really starting to feel the benefits, my sore shins have now shifted to my calves but I have found a nice quiet spot and my son comes with me for company (he runs faster backward than I can forward) it keeps me going and he enjoys it too :)

Hope everyone is having a good week.

Brilliant! :-)

Good ! It's amazing how quickly you can start to see progress isn't it ? How lovely to have company, especially from someone running backwards so you can talk to each other (if you've got enough breath that is !)

I lack self motivation on a grand scale. Having a jogging partner for me makes the whole experience better :) (he doesn't jog backwards all the way ) :) x

Thank you, I am finding it quite exciting. My son is 16 and really supportive, he has his moments just like any other teenager, but he enjoys the one to one attention that we have whilst running and has said he doesn't care what people think of him out running with his mum :) that makes me proud x

That is so sweet! My son is 17 and a good one too! I'm not sure about running with though because he's a competitive middle distance runner! He's going to come out and check my running style so fingers crossed he won't be too hard on me!

That's fantastic, sounds like you have a lovely young man to be proud off. Can't get my 15yo off League of Legends... but he wouldn't want to be seen dead in the village running with his old man!
