For the last few weeks, I've had a bit of a niggly hip. I put it down to a muscle complaining about being expected to work. Then last Thursday I stupidly hurt it, so I've been resting. As it had gone back to just being a bit niggly, I thought I'd give a gentle jog a go this morning. Dear readers, I did less than a minute... Hip went from achy to painful in the count of about 10 and it was pretty obvious I was doing it no good at all....
So, how long to rest for ? Until it no longer hurts at all ? 2 hours later its subsided to its usual grumbly state... There is no swelling, no heat, just a dull ache. (I'm hoping to participate in a 5k on 1st June...)
