I am gutted! Started week three this week and couldn't complete second run because of the pain in the inside of my knees. Had a bit on pain which I thought might be shin splints last week but now I can't run at all. Fed up!!

Commiserations, I'm in the same boat and it's horrible. Maybe some knee supports and some strengthening exercises for us both?

Get it checked - it might be the sign of a real problem. Meanwhile painkillers and maybe the knee exercises linked from this site. (When I got my knees checked I discovered I have moderate osteo-arthritis. A referal to a podiatrist and some snazzy insoles let me restart the programme).

Grrr so annoying - that happened to me in week 6. Extra rest, good shoes & a knee support bandage sorted me out. Take care & you'll be back out there before you know it :)
