Please find above the link for his just giving site. Many of you will have probably heard by now that he was running in support of the National Osteoporosis Society, as his mother has suffered for 20+ years with this illness.

Thinking of him & his family at this difficult time, success for so many who took part in this years London Marathon, and unfortunately such sad news for them.

Very sad news, thinking of his friends and family at this time

It's very sad news. I looked up news reports about this incident and it did state that he had blogged about breathing difficulties during the week leading up to the race. It is hard to imagine the dilemma he must have faced - whether to race or not in those circumstances. My condolences to his family.

Amazingly, so many kind people have donated that nearly £55k has been raised so far for the charity.
