goodbye to week 3!! I had to do 4 sessions instead of 3 as on day 1 I couldn't manage either of the 3 min sections, but I have to admit, the 2nd one this morning finished quicker than I was expecting! So, goodbye to week 3, hello week 4 on Wednesday .. gulp ..
Just wanted to say ...: goodbye to week 3!! I... - Couch to 5K
Just wanted to say ...
I am starting week 3 today and wished I hadn't listened to the podcast last night! 3 minutes of running sounds daunting, but I am going to give it a go as 2 weeks ago I couldn't run for a minute without needing oxygen...onwards and upwards no matter how slowly!
good luck, I found it really daunting too but once I stopped beating myself up about it and realising I could repeat a day if I absolutely needed to, its been fine. I'm loving it and actually can't wait to get out every other morning at 6.15 in the beautiful sunshine (although think it helps that I live in Jersey and the countryside is gorgeous!) and am looking forward to when I can run the full 30 minutes. Though I looked at the schedule this morning and realised that wk3r5 is 20 minutes! How can you go from 3 minutues yesterday to 20 minutes in 2 weeks time lol
Well done on completing week 3. As you say, no point beating yourself up over things and repeating a run or two is no bad thing. With regard to week 4, you are looking a little far ahead at the moment. By the time you reach that stage, believe me, you will be ready for it because you'll already have put in the preparation and training. Good luck with week 4 and best wishes.
