It's been a week between R2 and R3. Got caught up with reports and deadlines and convinced myself I hadn't the time to go for a run. If I'm honest I could have fit in 30 mins for a run but I think I was perilously close to doing my old trick of giving up and then blaming it on work pressures. (It didn't help that when I'm stressed I overeat on sweet things and I've gained another couple of pounds to my already curvaceous shape!)
I've got this forum to thank for giving me the push I needed to go out this morning. I realised that I'm not the only person who has these battles. I've come back and I'm genuinely proud of myself. I actually sprinted for the last 60 secs of the last run - for a split second I felt like an actual runner! Roll on Sunday when I start W3R1.

End of Sergeant Major voice.......
Life does sometimes get in the way but you owe it to yourself to fit in the runs that are so necessary to your health and wellbeing. You deserve 'me' time. Good for you for finally getting out there and completing week 2. Good luck with week 3 and best wishes.
