Sore ankles / calves wk7

Wk7 R2 today, and I am disappointed it was so slow compared to my previous runs where I'd been making good progress. Pain in the back of my legs, just above the ankles slowed me virtually to a stop at times. I wonder why? It was only just beginning to ease off in the last couple of minutes. it's dented my confidence a bit.

I'm not really sure what to say but I wonder if you could access a running site (sorry that must sound strange -I mean another running site.) They might be able to suggest some stretching exercises. I'm sure somebody on here will have some advice for you too. Please don't let it dent your confidence - there are answers to most things.

Thanks Waletta. Pleased to say things have improved. I completed W8R1 today and although my lower calves felt a bit tight sometimes, I did not have any significant pain. I wonder if I was just not warmed up enough the other day.
