did wk8 r1 last night and felt pretty good! slowed it down a bit and managed to run 4k in 28 mins. I know that is pretty slow but I'm sure distance will come in time. I do feel exhausted today though! think I will have a couple of rest days between each run now.

Well done! I also did W8R1 yesterday and the 3 extra minutes does make a big difference! My legs felt like jelly by the end! Good luck for R2. xx

Well done, i have done W8R1 this morning and managed 3.8k. The first 5 minutes are always the worse as i am getting my pace sorted, but today i also started with a few inclines and finished with one too, but so pleased to have come this far. Rest days are so important, early in the plan around week 3, i did 2 consecutive days and had cramp as a result, not very nice so have not done that again. Here's to run 2 and graduation in sight. x
