Following feedback from the forum I tried my last week 1 run on the treadmill at a slight incline -it was much harder and I broke out in a real sweat! As I'm scribing this my glasses are still steaming up. I think I'm going to try to do the last of the runs on an incline as can see how this will prepare me better for the great outdoors.

Great, isn't it? Open a window or door somewhere too ... More prep for the outdoors ... Oh and dig some potholes in your running platform! Haha
Have fun and happy running .... wherever - it's all good!

How much of an incline are you using? I had the treadmill set on 1% and I found it great preparation for the outdoors. I wasn't sure it would be, but I had no problem transferring to running outside. The incline is also, I believe, better for your joints than running on the flat.
Good luck!

Thank you, yes, I just had it on 1%, don't think I could have managed any steeper.
