Ok so I know we're all different but I am just wondering how long on average it took before people started to see some muscle definition? I'm right at the start of the program only just finished week 1 so I know it wont happen for a long time yet but I want something to look forward too!

How long till I look toned?
Believe it or not I started to see a difference after week 3. I repeated week 3 and a few people have noticed that I have lost an inch or two around my waist! best of luck!
You will start receiving comments from friends quite early on in the programme. But do not be surprised when you still weigh the same. It sounds a contradiction but you will look trimmer, albeit your weight may not have gone down - in fact it may even go UP slightly but do not worry if it does, it will soon drop later on in the programme.
Ooo thats very encouraging thanks for the replies, this is the sort of thing that will spur me on when Im gasping for air!
Hi it took about 4 months before I noticed the difference. For the first time in years my belly's not bulging over my jeans etc. After doing workout dvds over the years, running is the only thing that has worked quickly. I do Davina's dvds but only abs and core after I've been for a run. Good luck, oh yes muscle does weigh more so ignore those scales!!
Since the beginning I've lost over a stone and probably first started noticing it after around 6 weeks. Yesterday I had to put a new hole in my belt and on Friday my BMI finally reached the "normal" section of the graph. I will add that my diet is probably better now than when I first started because my mind set is "well why waste all that hard work?"
as others have said, you do get to see results fairly quickly... I started seeing differences around week 4 and I lost a bunch of weight too (around a stone or so) over the 9 week plan. Since doing the C25k last year, my weigh loss has dramatically slowed and I'm probably hovering around the same few pounds and have been for 6 months but my diet is a joke!
My wife on the other hand... (she may hurt me for posting this > distilleryimage2.ak.instagr... ) but she started running sporadically this time last year and has really picked the pace up this year (we've signed up for a half marathon) but with the help of Slimming World, she's dropped almost 4 stone, but the running has done wonders for her figure!
I'm nearly at the end of week 3 and I've noticed my trousers do up a little more easily already! Also feel generally less 'out of puff' going up the stairs. I agree with FirinBlanks' comment about diet - I have been eating more healthily and drinking more water, as to me it seems a bit silly to do a run and then tuck into a massive cheeseburger!
