Haven't been out for a whole week as it has been so hot, husband has been away, had a sore knee (how many more excuses can I think of). Today decided to go out but when I got to the end of the road saw the signs saying road would be closed due to half marathon. Oh I thought don't really want to get caught up in that and didn't know the exact route so wasn't quite sure how to avoid it either. I kept seeing the marshals getting ready on my way round and just smiled. I made it home without getting swept along with the marathon runners - enjoyed the run and knee stood up to the test.
