HRM / POLAR WATCH ? WHICH ONE IS BEST

Hi guys im looking for a good average priced HRM to track calories burned and km / distance. Can anyone reccomend a good decent one please? Thanks xxx

Hi I have a Polar FT7 which I wear at the gym, exercise classes and running. It displays heart rate and calories burned but not distance. (I use iPod nano for that).

I bought an Polar FT4 which does exactly the same as Yvonne24's FT7. Very happy with it. Easy to set up initially and easy to use every day. It only cost me about 50 pounds, from Amazon. Admittedly 50 pounds is not nothing, but it is in the lower range of what these things go for and Polar are known for being excellent quality (which I can confirm).

If you want a watch that does all of the above and measures distance, I think a Garmin would be the way to go. The one I have my eye on is about 100 pounds.

As an aside, I also bought sports bra with built in electrodes that is compatible with my polar sensor device. That way, when chest band is in the watch, I can clip the sensor to the bra. Works a treat!

Garmin's are good for distance, nit sure which come with heart rate monitor. Beware of the 110, 210, 410's though. The 110/210's have a dodgy data cable that cause issues (sent my 210 back to amazon because of it) and some people don't like the bezel on the 410. Love my new 610 though.
