Lead legs / heavy!!

Hi - i am finishing off week 6 tomorrow morning. 25min non stop run. I have suffered a family bereavment this week but I have been keeping up with the running app as it really helps clear my mind and relieve stress!! I have been noticing that my legs feel so so havy though almost like lead!!!! What causes this? Is it stress?? I don't want to take a week off training i know i need to keep at it as i have got this far! xxx

  • I had something like this from running with the wrong shoes (I have a neutral gait but was wearing running shoes for over pronators which caused my knees to bend inwards) making the longer runs agony. If you haven't already had your gait analysed it might be worth a try.
