For the first two runs of W8 I was getting a really bad pain in my calf and had to stop to stretch it two or three times, this was getting frustrating because although I stopped the podcast and I was still running 28 mins I felt I hadn't fully completed it.
After having a look on here I realised I wasnt alone and took on board the advise to run slower, and guess what -IT WORKED!
I think I was trying to run too fast, I forget that 9 weeks ago I was struggling to run for a minute and maybe my body is slower catching up than my mind!
Thank you to all for your advise and support throughout the last 9 weeks, I am due to run W9R1 this evening (slowly) and I am so excited about getting so close to graduation

Ooooo excited for you too Ruby ... we started the same week so we've been through all that grotty weather and are now emerging runners!
In retrospect my worst weeks were in the middle: I guess we all have different 'stink weeks' LOL. But you're very close to the finish post now... keep going - slowly! And yes, look how far we've come Linda
