Hi Hometeam2016.

Hmmmm, a puzzle eh ? No I have never heard of that happening. You must be a little concerned ?

Can I ask you what your diagnosed lung condition is ( if you have one ) ?

The Brompton has quite good name so I hope they get to the bottom of things for you.

Let us know how you get on won’t you ?

Go well,

Pauline

Ok that is interesting Hometeam2016

For many of us with this condition it happens...oxygen levels drop once we get up from sitting onto our feet ! That is the way it is for me.

Has your doctor requested an assessment from your local home oxygen team ? It is a simple assessment and can quickly tell you whether or not you need oxygen therapy and if you do it can really help to support your major organs ad keep them working well ! I dont really understand why your doc hasn't done that. Would you be prepared to ask ?

Any idea of the waiting list time to be seen at The Brompton ? It could be months I guess and for sure you dont want to be waiting for months do you ?

Keep well.

Pauline

You would need to ask the doctor more questions about the statement. The lungs oxygenate the blood to the arteries, so I cannot imagine bypassing the arteries as they are what takes the oxygen to your organs, muscles, etc.

Please keep us updated.

He said some bypass the lung , all he said was blue/red blood mix my oxygen drops when walking but I test again and it’s in the 90s so it doesn’t stay low
