What was that!?

Yesterday was avery bad day. From soon after lunch my breathing, poor at the start of the day, becxame terribvle. I seemed also to have a stomach upset. But this morning I am vastly better. Yesterday I lunched out and the food was nearly dreadful!.

So here is a question - has anyone any experience that suggests an intestinal upset can have an effect on the symptoms suffered by COPD victims?

Acid reflux, called GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease) allows stomach acids to rise into the esophagus and then sometimes into the airways. Not pleasant, and those acids can harm the airways. My doctor had me take some generic omeprazole....similar to Prevacid.Maybe have a chat with your physician.

I take lansoprazole for GERD although it probably caused my bronchiectasis!
