Could you go to a different pharmacy? See if they will help you, or ask if there is a generic version or even a coupon for it?

There must be some help out there as it is only for a few days.

Good Luck

Brovana is arformoterol tartrate.

Symbicort has fomoteral fumerate and also contains budesonide (an inhaled corticosteroid)....so they aren't the same.

In the states most insurance companies will cover a 30 day carry over refill. Did you check with the new insurance? There is also the "life" of a medication. In other words how long does it take for a medicine to full leave you body? Most of the copd meds take 3-4 days to fully leave your body. So there is some brief coverage. This is a medication to help stop lung spasms, you may want to ask your doctor if your rescue inhaler would work for a day or two.
