Hi, many of the msg I get are older because I only found this site a couple of weeks ago. I saw something written two months ago about "COPDTHECURE.org" I was wondering if anything has changed since that was written

Good morning frissykat, no one should have to pay. It's sad that there are so many out there who take advantage of sick people with bogus cures.

I have heard of airborne, but I've never taken it as I take so much medication now I doubt that I ever will. I do my best to eat a healthy diet for a strong immune system instead.

Legitimate trials pay people not the other way around. There is no cure for copd and this site makes it sound like there is, that is irresponsible in the extreme.

I looked up this site and am so interested for a cure. I'm thinking it my be only available to the wealthy ones. But will have to do some more research. There's a Lung Institute pretty close to me so I may check into it

I talked to my lung doctor yesterday about the stem cell therapy. She has heard of it and says it is having some promising results, problem is right now its experimental. Insurance wont cover it. She said treatments are 10,000.00 + EACH. She also stressed .. it is NOT a cure but it can make a significant difference in ones life. BTW Mspatriot .. it is the the Lung Institute that Im talking about. There is one in Tenn that offers it. I would love to give it a try but Im sure Im not alone when I say I dont have 10K just laying around to spend, and note my doctor says it takes more than 1 treatment.

Yes there is one in Scottsdale AZ. But I won't be using it. If it cost that much and insurance doesn't cover the treatment so much for that idea. Too bad they can't make it more affordable for the less fortunate. But gotta keep the faith. Maybe other curable and affordable treatments will come on the future

Yeah, seems when you have major issues like this something could be done to help you get treatment. I was very excited when I learnt about the stem cell therapy. After talking to my doctor and learning the cost ... not so much. Your average person could not afford this treatment, and to me thats sad. I just dont get it, we can send billions of dollars to all the foreign countries to " help " them, yet the Gov. wont help there own ... something is bad wrong with that.

I've read about some of the stem cell research and the regeneration. My dr said something is coming that will really help people but it's anther 1o years out from being approved by the regulators for public use. I'm not sure if he was talking about stem cell. I knew stem cell is in a trial stage. I am going to have to ask him now. I was stressed that day because he said i wouldn't live long enough to benefit from it...grrrr..he also said I'm a bad candidate for lung transplant so it was a gloomy doomy day. I'm over that now lol

I did a little research and the address shows a street of small homes where this so-called copd trial money is sent. This is a scam. What clinical trial from a reputable hospital ask for 25.00 either by check or money order. Do not participate. It is a scam MICKEY'SMOM. Really, that name just gets me. I am going to talk to that hospital as well as reporting this.
