hi there I’ve just been diagnosed with bowel cancer ! so I’m new to this , things are moving pretty fast! not sure if this is a good thing.

the quicker the better I am the same age as you and same diagnosis .I found out in march last year and op in April all treatment finished by September .Good luck in your journey

thank you they are discussing my CT scan & MRI scan I had last week! so at some point I’ll be informed soon of my treatment 🤞🤞

I’ve got an appointment today at 9.00 am so this is the day I’ll find out what’s going to be done 🤞🤞🙏

hi just to let you know it is mostly positive news! it’s T1 stage and all scans show no spreading! will be having keyhole surgery to remove tissue & scarring, it will be this month 👌👌🙏

That is very positive news. My partner was diagnosed from screening last year and had keyhole/robotic surgery within 2 months from the initial colonoscopy. 5 day hospital stay and he hasn’t looked back! 6 monthly checks, then yearly for next few years! You’ve got this early & things are going to move fast but that’s exactly what you want.

got my operation date next Thursday 9th march , had my pre op today this time next week it’ll be done 🤞🤞🙏👌

hi there I’m home and doing ok a bit sore, all went well the constant is confident he’s got it all but can’t promise, will be having regular check ups 👌👌

day 6 from operation, still feeling sore when I sit ! so I chose to get up and get on with my day 👌it’s beautiful sunshine so into my garden 🪴 this afternoon 💪💪hope you are doing good 😊

Just take it easy do what you can I tried to move about as much as I could you are getting there it’s early days .I am doing fine have my first follow up appointment early April so we shall see what comes of that Lovely day here just cold stay well x

I first saw the consultant 6 weeks after operation then had a scan a few weeks later .This appointment inApril is the first as you are seen every 6 months for 5years.Lovely day here I have been tidying the garden take care x

hi thank you for your reply, I’ve only been 4 weeks this Friday I had the colonoscopy so things moved quickly, so hopefully having keyhole surgery before the end of march🤞 hope your mum gets her results back soon, will be thinking of your mum and your family 🙏🤞🤞

Fast is your best bet. The cancer moves quickly. Since August I have consecutively undergone a partial nephrectomy and colectomy. Delay colectomy meant it's reached the lymph nodes. Am now on chemo tablets for six months

that’s good news, I’ve got some lymph nodes that look inflamed so having more tests before the operation, 🤞🤞
