I’ve been referred to Colon team and have an appointment tomorrow 30/9/2022

This is because my fit test was positive 76%

How likely is it to be bowel cancer?!?

Hi Emsway. Sorry you find yourself here. In answer to your question, its impossible to say until you have colonoscopy. Bleeding can have numerous causes and the FIT test is just picking up blood. My FIT test was 400 and i had a rectal tumour. Good luck with your appointment. Its great youve been referred. Keep us posted xx

Sorry to hear that this, but I am so glad that you are taking care it straight away. I got test in 2020 and was positive and I wasn't proactive enough! I had my first colonoscopy this past August and they found a tumor in my sigmoid, taking about 3.5 cm according to the CT Scan, I meet with the Oncologist 2 day ago and he told me if I had gone in 2020 it may have been stage 1, now I am most likely a stage 3. SO I am writing all this today, I am glad you are GOING NOW then later. Hugs and hope to you!
