More blood then stool hi I have had very bloody bowel movements almost every time for years now went to er once for them to tell me I'm fine after a finger up the ass . It gets to the point where I feel like I'm about to have explosive diarrhea get to the bathroom just to pretty much let out blood buildup it seems it's always bright red there is always more blood than stool no pains at all I haven't had a actually flare up of external hemorrhoids like i use to in about 5 years when i use to get them its was almost about every 6 months or so and there was no walking for a few days I have noticed at work I get really light headed every time I neal down and stand back up thought dehydration but not starting to think cause of losing so much blood I'm just looking for similar cases to maybe get straight to the source cause of my insurance they kinda just rush me in and out

Hi - I had the same thing. Had my colonoscopy this week and it was colitis. I had anaemia from losing so much blood so that’s probably why you’re light headed. When I was stressing about the colonoscopy it made the colitis worse.

You need a colonoscopy to see what the problem is. Does your insurance not cover that. I am so sorry that you have to worry about that as well as your problem. I hope you can get the treatment you need and to set your mind at rest.

Hi Ewb123,

Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. I'm sorry that these symptoms are causing you discomfort and pain.

You have this very obvious symptom and are not getting answers. The finger up the butt didn't get the answer either as the symptoms continue and look to be escalating. You definitely need to solve this by getting to your doctor and reviewing your history (of non-answers) and ask about getting a colonoscopy as the next method of finding the problem.

There are many causes for blood in the stool, some are very treatable with medication, diet change, and minor procedures, and of course, there are more serious reasons for blood in the stool as well. For that reason, we always advise patients to seek medical care when they have blood in the stool. We need to find the real reasons and act on that.

I'm also very sorry that the insurance may be one of the issues. I hope that isn't the reason for your non-answers.

Bottom line, you've got to resolve this. You need a correct diagnosis and then work to resolve or deal with that information. You can't keep guessing. Please go get answers for your situation.👍

Also, come back and let us know what you found out. Blood in stool is a very popular symptom.

Thank You ...
