Colon Cancer?

Ok so a couple months ago I posted a post about the symptoms I was having, and how they started going away, to give a quick description of what’s going on, I was eating popcorn on the night of January 14th, and the morning after I had diarrhea, constipation, a TON of gas and I was belching a lot. Weeks in I started getting slight stomach cramps with the other symptoms mentioned above. This went on for a while and honestly I was terrified and convinced I was going to die, and my anxiety was only making the symptoms 10x worse. My stool would be really inconsistent and it would alternate between soft stool and diarrhea. But about 2 weeks into all of this, there was this one day where my stool was completely back to normal?? And then the next day it started again. I also had the sensation of incomplete bowel movements and I was straining pretty hard. I never saw any blood or anything like that in my stool, and it was never tar-like. Around April, I started noticing my stool was becoming “flat”, or like it had grooves in it, but my other symptoms began going away completely and my bathroom habits began going back to normal. I went to the doctors around late May and explained my symptoms and the doctor said it was likely IBS and to watch my diet and exercise more (I’m 18, underweight, barely exercise and my diet is so random), and I’ve been working at getting better at that and I’m starting to see improvements. I had an annual blood test done and everything came back clean as well, but I still have the feeling something is in my rectum and my poop is still coming out flat/with grooves, my stomach cramps have come back and I’m having a lot of gas. It’s like a discomfort I can feel around my tailbone area and like at the base of my colon/rectum. I’m absolutely terrified for my life. It’s making it very hard to eat. I think it might be internal hemorrhoids/IBS as I am having discomfort/slight pains around my anal area, itching and all the regular symptoms, but I have yet to see any blood what so ever. I don’t know what to do. I want to go back to the doctor again and my probably will, but does this sound like colon cancer to you? I’d also like to mention that I had 0 of these symptoms anytime before the night of January 14th.

Well, I really do hope its nothing! But please visit the doctor again and pressurize them to do better checks, because it is your life! Make them do it, it doesnt affect their way of living but yours! And surely, all the best! But please make sure you dont let them off the hook, until they do the checks in your rectum.
