Do any of you experience lower back pain alongside your other symptoms? Some days I'm okay but there's been a consistent dull in my lower left back for about a month now. Some days it's extremely bad and some days it's not really even notable.
Also, my gi specialist Lost??? my blood test results? So that's....nice? I know my CRP levels were slightly elevated from what the lab technician told me but I was never able to hear back on the more indepth numbers. My stool tests also came back just fine, tests to look for something that relates to either chrons or UC. I'm just feeling very lost, scared and discouraged. I've lost a lot of weight too but have been eating a bit better.
I'd like to note that I turned 21 in november, and I'm planning to study abroad for a year in Germany but if my health issues continue like this i'm not sure i'll be able to go.

Hi allysmith9 ,Sorry to hear about the back pain and lost test results! Will you be getting additional blood draws because of the lost results?
Back pain is funny (not haha funny), but funny in that it can be caused by so many different things - even from not feeling well and spending time in bed! Be sure to let your doctor know about your back pain and please make sure those tests are re-done.
As far as travelling abroad, when safe to do so (COVID-wise), and once you've got a better sense of what your health issues are and how to best keep them under control... maybe decide then. It would be a shame not to travel due to health issues, but understandable. I hope that once you get more information on what's going on with you, you'll connect with others who are managing well with their GI diagnosis, and even thriving!
