More blood

Today seems there’s more blood in 15 years old and I’ve talked to the doctor I went for a blood and stool test and both were good , he thinks it’s hemorrhoids, could this be cancer?? I’m not feeling pain of any sort. Since yesterday I started using this medication my doc gave, I put it inside my anus and squirt it , today there was more blood and I’m kinda scared , it’s blood and mucus , I feel this is hemorrhoids but just today I’m scared after this

Hi Jeetpro ,Sorry to hear you are still going through this. It is likely hemorrhoids as your doctor said, but getting the colonoscopy will be able to tell you for sure. I know it is scary to have bleeding with bowel movements.

Did you ask your doctor, at what point - how much blood - would you need to go to an emergency room?

Is the reason that you have to wait for the colonoscopy because of COVID? I would suggest having a parent try to help you advocate for an earlier appointment - at the bare minimum contact the health provider and let them know you are really anxious, still experiencing the bleeding, and ask if there is a waitlist or any way to get the colonoscopy sooner.

There are so many reasons for symptoms - many are able to be controlled by diet, medication, etc. Try not to let this get your anxiety too high, because anxiety can actually make gastrointestinal symptoms worse.
