I don't really know if I have bowel cancer. So, please tell me what to do ?
The conditions that I faced are:
1. irregular bowel movement/ constipation. When I was in my age of 15 to 18, I used to have stomach aches in between the epigastric and umbilical region, once in a month. I had to get admitted to hospital during my 18 yrs age. After treatment with intravenous medicines and saline solution etc , the pain used to decrease. Constipation was still a problem.
Now, for past one-two years, I have been taking a laxative once or twice a week. Since then I have no pain in stomach. But constipation is not gone.
2. Present conditions during pooping:
a) I do not have any heavy urge to defaecate. If I have heavy breakfast sometimes, then, I get some pressure. If I have incomplete pooping in the morning, then I get some pressure to poop in the evening. I have to squeeze my tummy to poop. No runny stool. I have to drink a lot water otherwise poop becomes very sticky.
b) I have normal appetite. I have cravings for different foods. I must have to take snacks in between breakfast ( 9 am ) and lunch ( 1:30 - 2:00 pm ). And I take less carbs as possible. My diet is truly lack of fiber. I do not find food items having fiber content. Please suggest some !
c) I have occasional blood in stool when I find extreme difficulties to pass it out. But it occurs like once/ twice a month and once in a day.
d) I have gas problems till now. No junk food, only home made; no alcohol.
d) I do some exercise and play everyday, that keeps me.
e) If I am unable to pass out the stool completely, I get headaches.

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to read about what you are experiencing. Are you of the age to be screened for colorectal (bowel) cancer? This is typically starting around age 45.
As far as your symptoms, I would absolutely recommend getting checked out by a gastroenterologist. Given your past history with GI issues, and what you are now experiencing, they will be able to recommend what is best as far as diet and medication.
There are many reasons why you could be experiencing all of these symptoms, including blood in the stool, but the only way to know what is going on exactly is to have a specialist check you out. It could be a chronic disease that is easily managed or it could be something more serious - which is why we are very serious in always recommending to get checked out by a specialist.
Please make an appointment and let us know how it goes!
Yesterday, I noticed my right lower quadrant of abdomen is slightly inflated than the left. When, I am inflating my whole abdomen intentionally, the right lower portion gets more inflated. Moreover, when I am lying and pressing that area, I can feel something solid. I don't have any pain. I am tensed. What do u think ? This Covid has narrowed every path
Hey I had experienced exactly same symptoms, Try taking lactulose 10ml twice a day (do this once in every 15 day) It helped me. Basically it will clear your bowels. Eat less fatty and oily food it will help.
