New hand cleaner not a lot of hot air?

I prefer the proven paper towel myself, though I notice this new Dyson tap dryer is reportedly, quieter, more hygienic and economical and most importantly, tested for survival from the unwanted attention of football hooligans!

Does anyone know the UK price? It is going on sale here (Australia) for $1590, which at the current exchange rate, strangely corresponds to 1,000 pounds pretty well exactly!

I saw James Dyson being interviewed about this. £1000 was the price he quoted. Strangely he was expecting sales into commercial premises not residential mainly!
