Sudden bone pain

Hi stitcher66,
I had leg pain issues in 2017 after 9 years with CLL (and 2 rounds of treatment) I tried to convince Dr. Furman, my CLL expert, that it was related to my CLL, but since it was primarily in my left leg calf & thigh he sent me to the WCM spine clinic and a MRI revealed potential nerve pinches due to insufficient clearance in 3 axes.
I'm not suggesting that is your issue, but am suggesting you get a good diagnostician to explore the specifics of your pain, potentially not from CLL.

Hi. I have just been struck down by similar pains in my left femur, hip and knee. There is a degree of puzzlement in the hospital(s) and i have been referred to a specialist knee unit and put on morphonevto control the pain which is extensive. It appears to be very rare but secondary bone cancer is a possibility and I await a biopsy of the bone in the area. The pain is excruciating but hard to pinpoint. I have broken bones, torn muscles, split cartileges and torn cruciate ligaments in my time playing hockey and skiing. None of there are the same sort of pain at all. This feels asvthoughbit is tootedbin the center of the bone...
I'm so sorry to hear you are in pain!

Bone pain - true bone pain, from the bone itself is unusual and can be severe.
You would be well advised to vist your Family Dr. Don't ignore it and don't leave it to self diagnosis.
lankisterguy above has amply demonstrated how common "pain" is in CLL. There are of course important non-CLL causes.
Like many I had my fair share CLL related symptoms - my "pain" was more of an ache, intense and unrelenting, mainly in the legs. This vanished once I started treatment, which in my case was FCR chemo.

Check for Multiple Myeoloma. Ask for an M Protein test and a Kappa/lambda light chains test.
Hello stitcher66
I have roving muscle and bone pains but feel it is due to arthritis. I have had CLL for about 8 years and suspect that the collapse of my immune system is behind some of my issues. I now have reactions to things I never had reactions to before CLL like poison ivy and etc.
