What is the recommendation for holding off the medication, in my case, Pirtobrutinib (platelets 120), for a colonoscopy?Thanks

For all of my appointments, Colonoscopy, BMP, I didn't have to stop medication because platelets were good (much lower than yours are currently).

Were you on any BTK meds, when you had those procedures done?

I have been on 5 different drugs over the years. So yes. Ibrutnib, V&O and now on Brukinska.

The Prescribing Information for Jaypirca/zanubrutinib uspl.lilly.com/jaypirca/jay... states:

Consider the benefit-risk of withholding JAYPIRCA for 3 to 7 days pre- and post-surgery depending upon the type of surgery and risk of bleeding.

I had the same procedure whilst on Pirto and held off 7 days pre + 7 days post procedure.

I stop all medication for 10 days for any invasive procedure and covid infections. Probably stop 8 times in 4 yrs.
