hi, had to stop Zanubrutinib treatment due to edema and heart failure. Wondering if anyone else has had this reaction to the drug?

Docs thinks is possible HF caused by previous chemo and Zanubrutinib could still work in small doses, but am wary as HF came on so fast - 20 kg in water retention.

20 kg? That's 46 lbs. of water... nevermind, I forgot you're writing for someone else.

It was honestly that extreme. Stopped being able to breathe. Hospital didn’t take it seriously at first and it kept increasing each week - then rushed to emergency department.

I don't doubt it. With me thinking it was you, I thought it strange that you didn't feel such a change and take action. It's harder when one is observing from the outside.

I wasn't questioning your facts or experience. That's why I looked up your bio and past posts, only to see you are getting information to help a different person.

Thank you for doing so, I'm sure they appreciate it. 🙂

Hi

Did they do a work up like a cardiac stress echo, or nuclear stress test to make sure you heart arteries are well perfused

Or EKG to see if you are in Afib rhythm etc.?

Good luck and God bless
